My Plan for the Year

So here is something I am planning...

First of all, I am in the middle of solving what is wrong with my knee, and how to fix it with all these appointments to I have booked. I have decided that I'm going to have to take a break from dance weather it be a few months or a year. I'm going to be pretty bored without going to dance class.
Second of all I'm at the stage where I'm finally feeling like I understand. I have learned a lot at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet and myself. I fine myself wanting to teach dancers that want to go further with dance what I've learned.
I have a lot to learn myself and I know I can only teach somebody so much, but I believe if people start learning a little from me now, it's more than what they have already. This plan is not only to help them learn, but to help me too. I have a great passion for teaching, and it's not only seeing the dancers grow, become better, and get something out of it, but also I find I learn so much with just teaching. It also satisfied me to know I can teach my way and do it however I want.
So what I am planning to do, is get a group together of dancers that want to learn from me. We can have one on one classes at my place and I'll help them with whatever they want help with, and teach them new things if they want.
I believe this will help me immensely with finding myself, and finding how I want to do things. I think it will make me stronger as a dancer and a human being. I also hope to make the dancers stronger as both a human being and a dancer. I'm hoping to open their eyes to the real world, let them know what is out there, and maybe they will find something new that they like.
I so far have 8 people in my little "group" and I'm very happy with that, I hope they will enjoy themselves as much as I will. If more people want like this idea and want to join they are more than welcome to, they can facebook me, or phone/text me.
So we are starting hopefully on Saturday and I am so ready for it. I'm going to go for it, I will not hold back, I'm just going to let it all out as I hope they will too.
